Tradition can be a controversial topic and it can be forsaken by new creative minds, but for this editorial, it was central to the team's inspiration. They wanted contrast and they wanted to show how the current fashion waves and the former Portuguese urbanization, architecture and lifestyle can intermingle. Tanya, the photographer, with her exquisite aesthetic, choose Beato and Marvila in the city of Lisbon to set the pace for this project. The beautiful abandoned buildings and the river with traditional fishing boats built the perfect atmosphere for what she had in mind. It's worthwhile to pay attention and breathe life into these spaces once more.
Zaquel and Radija, the models, were a match made in heaven, we can feel their energy and charisma right away.
Márcia, the stylist, immediately knew that this project would need not only lots of colour and futuristic fashion, but also some classic touches and some traditional details. Some small and sustainable Portuguese brands are featured in this work.
Antónia, the make up artist and Marta the hairstylist enriched the story with their personal touch and incredible talent.
